MSc Student, Material Science
BSc, UOIT

I am a graduate student completing my masters in material science at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. I received my bachelor's of science in physics with a specialization in environmental energy systems. My thesis project looks at the collapse of red blood cells into rouleaux formation, a particular aggregate structure where the cells stack on top of each other like a roll of coins. I model this behavior using simulations of red blood cells using software packages such as HOOMD to take advantage of the GPU compute speedup's.
