About the lab

Our laboratory is fully equipped with essential tools that will enable trainees to isolate and analyze novel genes as well as functionally characterize ion channels and associated proteins. We currently have several projects available for potential graduate students and post-doctoral fellows.

Research funding comes from a variety sources including the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), Canadian Foundation for Innovation, the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology.
